ACHIEVEMENTS
Andrey was born in 1960 in Kansk, Russia, and showed an early interest in history and international relations. He graduated from Tomsk State University in 1984 with a degree in history. Pursuing further education abroad, he earned a bachelor’s degree in international economics from York University (Canada), a master’s degree in international business from École nationale des ponts et chaussées (France), and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School (USA). These academic achievements became the foundation for his future career in global strategic planning and intelligence.
Andrey spent over 20 years abroad engaged in intelligence activities under a deep cover on behalf of the Russian Federation. He also worked as a partner at consulting firms specializing in strategic forecasting and planning for governments and corporations. His expertise included research of complex geopolitical environments and contribution to innovative approaches in public administration.
In 2010, he was arrested in the U.S. as unregistered agent of a foreign country, and later exchanged in a spy swap. He is a recipient of a number of Russian awards, including the Order of Merit for the Fatherland (IV degree), the Order of Courage and the Order of Military Merit.
